- Collect rainwater. If you’re RVing in an area that gets a lot of rain, you can set up a rain barrel or other collection device to catch and store the water for later use.
- Limit water usage for showers, dishes, and laundry. Try to take shorter showers, and use a bucket or bowl to wash dishes instead of running the tap. Also, wait until you have a full load of laundry before washing.
- Use biodegradable soaps and detergents. These soaps and detergents are more environmentally friendly and will help keep chemicals out of the water.
- Avoid using water for activities like washing your RV or car. Instead, use a biodegradable cleaner made specifically for these tasks.
